Jackson Hole Children’s Museum

The IDEA BOX is the adjacent space next to the museum designed as a separate yet related space for creating and events.

The Jackson Hole Children’s Museum mission is to provide safe and welcoming play spaces, after-school programs, summer camps, and partnerships with community nonprofits, the museum is more than just a place - it’s the heart of a community where relationships are essential for the well-being of children and families.

Two adjacent spaces make up the full project- the Museum and the IDEA BOX. These space work together to not only provide a museum of exploration and play but to facilitate educational programs and events. The design is truly a unique space.

GYDE is not only designing the museum with JHCM but coordinating and collaborating with all the stakeholders, exhibit designers, artists, and the community. Unique exhibit pieces done by local artists will further dynamic design approach to the museum , as it is meant to be ever-evolving and shift over time with new exhibits and children’s input into the space. The museum is slated to open to the public in 2025.
