Innovation & Pragmatism: The Serenity Now Residence

Great design is a mix of innovation and pragmatism. At GYDE, our architects use design to solve problems while also creating spaces and places that are visually stunning. We strive to take our clients’ vision to the next level. It is important to us that your home includes all the elements for your lifestyle, while providing a visually exceptional presentation.
It begins with collaboration and listening - we want to know what beautiful means to you. What inspired you when you purchased this lot or this home? We also want to know what drives you. What are your passions and hobbies? Do you want your home to be a reflection of your pursuits, or perhaps a second home that allows you to escape the day-to-day? We designed the Serenity Now Residence with these questions in mind. With an open-concept layout and floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple families can gather and enjoy together the sweeping lake and mountain views.
We strive to understand who is important to you in order to create spaces that welcome them. Guests of all ages can feel at home in Serenity Now, as playful elements like a dedicated bowling alley and private movie theater optimize indoor fun. For many of our clients, including the Serenity Now homeowners, outdoor recreation is vitally important and a big reason they decided to make a home in a mountain town. The prime location of this residence, close to lakefront docks for on-water activities and central to an impressive trail system, supports the owners’ recreational pursuits and their desire to create lasting memories with family and friends.
Many of our clients have goals in mind for their new build or remodel, but just aren’t sure how to execute or solve for x in order to get there. You may know you want a large living room for entertaining, or a mudroom to store your skis, but not how to combine these disparate ideas into a cohesive home. That’s where we come in. Open dialogue and respect are vital to the GYDE process—this practice of listening is how we understand the uniqueness of each client’s vision so we can bring it to life. Tell us how you want to live in your home, how you want to feel when you enter a room, and who will be there with you.
