Vertical Harvest Jackson Hole

Vertical Harvest Jackson Hole is a replicable, scalable model for civic infrastructure that cultivates healthy people, communities and economies. VH is a state-of-the-art, three-story hydroponic farm that employs workers with developmental disabilities year-round. This flagship project is significant on a local, national and global scale. In 2010 the Town of Jackson, released a RFP to find a creative solution for an infill lot adjacent to the town’s parking garage. Six years later, through a public-private partnership with the Town of Jackson, the greenhouse was realized.

As a milestone project in urban agriculture, VH is providing a local solution to the area’s short growing season and high demand for imported fresh foods by producing over 100,000 pounds of food to grocery stores, restaurants and direct to consumers. identified as an innovative workplace, VH is providing an answer to the employment needs of an underserved portion of the Wyoming population, dedicating it’s resources to providing citizens with disabilities a meaningful, consistent employment.
