Starting her professional career in international development, Steph has worked on projects in over 15 countries ranging from schools in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco to medical clinics in rural Uganda. After 5 years of human centered design projects, she transitioned to community based architecture - bringing just as much purpose, innovation and passion to the design process and projects in her own backyard.

Motivated by supporting communities, civic partnerships have been her focus. This extends beyond her role at GYDE, having served on the Town of Jackson Planning Commission/Board of Adjustments since 2022. Steph brings leadership, accountability, and process optimization to every project; ensuring each project hits target design, budget and schedule milestones while not compromising creativity (or fun) in the process. When she isn’t in the office, she can be found on her skis, bike or raft with her husband and son.
