Interlock started as a response to bike rack competition for Center for the Arts in Jackson, WY (submission pictured to the left). It was conceived as a sculpture that also functions as a bike rack, bench and whatever the imagination of a kid dreams up. While our submission was not selected for the competition, it garnered the attention of a local contractor, JH Builders, who decided this idea should be brought to life. JH Builders, Quality Steel Inc. and GYDE, partnered together to bring Interlock to the community. 

This team found a perfect home for Interlock at R Park, a community park that celebrates art and outdoor recreation. In this new home, Interlock continues to evolve as kids climb and explore the dynamic form.
